Explore the island on foot, bicycle or car. Get a breath of fresh air on the Oosterschelde, or enjoy all the possibilities the island has to offer. The most beautiful island to walking in Zeeland  thanks to the varied Thool landscape, it is perfect for exploring. 

There is also plenty to do in Zeeland outside the municipality of Tholen. Think of the mussel and oyster fishery in Yerseke. Abroad is also much closer than you think. Antwerp is about a 35-minute drive from Tholen.

The Burgundian town of Bergen op Zoom is only 10 kilometers from Tholen. The Zeeland cities of Zierikzee and Goes are easy to reach and so on. Tholen is an ideal base for getting out and about.
