Cycle route Poortvliet, Stavenisse and Sint-Annaland (40,35 km)

You can enjoy a breath of fresh air on the island of Tholen in Zeeland. The whole island is sparsely populated and fields and meadows stretch between the hamlets. You start at windmill De Korenaar in Poortvliet. You get on your bike and you cycle along the Oosterschelde, with a beautiful view of the water, towards Sint-Maartensdijk. To do this, you pass through the Pluimpot nature reserve. In Stavenisse you pass the mill Stavenisse. The mill was built in 1801 as a replacement for a blown down post mill. In Sint-Annaland you can get off the bus and rest at Brasserie De Deu-braek. Enjoy a snack and drink and be surprised by the varied menu. You deserved it! Then it's time to cross the island and cycle back to Poortvliet through the vast fields.
