Tholen is a real walking island. Various walks have been set out, but with a map in hand you can also put on the naughty walking shoes and set out on your own.

With the aid of the walking network and using the nodes, you will come along quiet farmland paths, unique views over the water and authentic village centres. You even run the risk of having to use a pull raft to continue on your way. In short, you must have walked here once.
The detours around the cores are definitely recommended. There are nine. On this website you will find all information such as the starting points, the type of signage and the length indicated. You can also find out fun facts and historical facts via the information panels.

Another good tip are the pearl routes. These short interactive routes are also great fun as an outing with children. Along the way there are assignments and questions that will eventually give you a pearl at the end point. Choose from three different routes or walk them all!
