Old Craft: Decorative fur felting from sheep's wool

During this pleasant evening you will be introduced to a centuries-old craft: fur felting.

This involves turning part of a beautiful sheared sheepskin into a small fur to drape on the headboard of your easy chair, place on the table or perhaps decorate a sturdy olive box.

The fleeces we use are shorn fleeces, the sheep is still alive 🙂

With a bit of luck you will still see the sheep whose fleece you are working on, still walking around our farm.

Felting is done with soap and water and friction of the hands. Felting these little furs is not difficult.

We start at 19 p.m. and will be busy for about 2 or 3 hours.

And maybe such a small fur tastes like a day of felting a whole fur?
