Boot tour on the salt marshes of St. Annaland

Walk with the guide from Staatsbosbeheer through the vast polder landscape of Tholen. Ebb and flow determine the rhythm here, the salty air tickles your nose. You shouldn't be afraid of wet feet, because the trip goes through muddy creeks and over salt marshes and the mud flats: mudflats that are flooded by the tide twice a day. Along the way you will find plants such as sea lavender and sea aster and it is teeming with worms, shellfish and small crustaceans. Enjoy this, on a global scale, unique, coastal nature outside the dykes.
