Living with the water

These hiking trails take you to "unknown" places via fun elements and you get acquainted with the landscape and the rich culture (history) of the Thool countryside. These short themed walks (detours) are signposted around the villages!

About this walk Stavenisse 
Some call this village 'the end of the world'. It is located at the very tip of the island. The village was hit hard during the flood disaster. In the Flood House, an information center, the story is told about the flood and also about the period of recovery afterwards.

Starting point: Voorstraat 42 near the Watersnoodhuis (on the corner near the harbor)
Height: approx. 1,5 km
