Theodore Roosevelt Cycle Route (55,06 km)

The ancestors of the former presidents of America Theodore, Franklin Delano and his wife Eleanor Roosevelt come from Oud-Vossemeer. This beautiful route starts and ends here, which for a large part goes along the beautiful Oosterschelde. This route also passes through polders where family of the former 'Van Rosevelts' owned land and/or farms. Interesting sights at the start and end location include the Oude Stoomgemaal in Oud Vosseemeer, the Roosevelt Information Center (located in the Ambachtsherenhuis), the Four Freedoms monument, the former Huize Roosevelt, 't Oude Smidsklokje, the NH church and the De Jager mill.
