Wildlife Tholen

Thool wildlife beautifully portrayed

Rattling hares, curious deer, cunning foxes and dancing partridges. The natural life on and around Tholen is rich. Very rich. Someone who knows all about this is the Brabant photographer Robert-Jan Asselbergs. He can lie still for hours to take the most beautiful action photos. He prefers to shoot his images at eye level and at a time when the 'fashion model' feels unobserved and shows natural behaviour.

Robert-Jan's camera, binoculars and fine nose for the perfect photo opportunity are the most important tools. He likes to come to Tholen. Where? He likes to keep this a secret as much as possible, to protect the photogenic animals. He prefers to be active in the early morning or at sunset, shooting the most spectacular, moving and extremely captivating photos. Via the Facebook page Thoolse Snaps he regularly shares his latest images. Especially for our site, here is a selection of beautiful, truly unique photo opportunities from Thools. Thanks to our posing animal friends.
