No regional costumes have been worn on Tholen since the Second World War. In recent years, however, interest in the typical Thool regional costume has grown again and on certain occasions you will find the members of the Streekdracht Tholen Foundation. In the Streekmuseum in Sint-Annaland you get a good impression of how people used to dress here. The museum has a fine collection of costumes, hats and jewelry.
