In this series of short celebrations we follow the tradition of Taizé. In essence, a Taizé celebration offers peace and space to find yourself.
The celebration is characterized by meditations in the form of singing together repetitive, polyphonic songs (in different languages),
alternated with short texts, moments of silence and space for personal prayer and reflection. All this in encounter with different generations, cultures and faiths.
From the tranquility, you are cordially invited for coffee or tea at the back of the church after this special celebration.
Taizé́ is a small hamlet in Burgundy, France, located on a steep hill in the Grosne River valley. Roger Schutz (1915-2005) founded a community here in which reconciliation and community are central. The ecumenical community includes brothers from many Christian traditions from many different countries and has grown over time into a meeting place for young people from all over the world.
